The exciting thing about last month’s new releases has been the positive response from some of the authors: one gave us enthusiastic free advertising on his weblog, another sent the news to his publisher, and Naomi Novik has sent us some signed bookplates. Free if you buy a copy of Temeraire from us: just ask. And if you've bought a copy of Temeraire from us already, and would like a signed bookplate, just drop into the shop with your copy, and we'll give you a bookplate. While stocks last.

We also still have signed bookplates by Glenda Larke, Karen Miller, and Poppy Z. Brite.

Stocking Stuffer Sale

The sale will be continuing until the end of the month. Paperbacks $2 to $5, trade paper $10 to $15, hardcovers $10 to $20. We’ve gone through several cartons of the paperbacks already – mostly Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance, Buffy, Angel and Star Trek titles – so hurry if there’s anything you’re after.

Website

http://www.fantasticplanet.com.au/ is still evolving, but now features staff biographies and recommendations, an archive of our newsletters, and a map so you can find the shop more easily.
